Cristina Bianchetti is Full Professor of Urbanism. She taught at the Faculty of Architecture of Pescara, Venice and Milan. She currently teaches at the Polytechnic of Turin, where she is Vice-coordinator of the College of Architecture. She is also member of the PhD School of the Polytechnic of Turin and member of the PhD Board in Urbanism at the IUAV University of Venice. She has been in the editorial staff of the magazines Urbanistica, Asur, and she worked continuously with Casabella and Domus. She is in the editorial board of the magazine L’indice and member of the Scientific Committee of CRIOS. She is the curator of the book series ‘cp’ for the publisher Donzelli. She deals with themes related to dwelling and design in the contemporary city. On these themes, she gave a lectio at the Philosophy Festival in Modena on Autumn 2013. Angelo Sampieri is Associate Professor of Urbanism at the Polytechnic of Turin where he works at The Interuniversity Department of Urban and Regional Studies and Planning (DIST). His research deals with themes related to city planning and design. Among his pubblications: Nel paesaggio. Il progetto per la città negli ultimi venti anni, Donzelli, Roma 2008; L’abitare collettivo (edited by), FrancoAngeli, Milano 2011; Landscapes of Urbanism (co-edited by), Officina, Roma 2011. Since 2011 he joins the research Shared Territories and since 2013 he joins Territories in crisis  (Program for Research Internationalization, Call Competition POLITO-EPFL).

Elisabetta M. Bello is an architect and PhD in Territorial Planning and Local Development. She has been teaching assistant at the course of Public Policy Theories and Local Development at the Polytechnic of Milan and she’s actually collaborating with the Urban Design atelier and the course of Urbanism at the Polytechnic of Turin. Her research deals with themes related to dwelling, urban planning and mobility. On these topics she published several articles in books and magazines. Among her publications:  Abitare l’Italia. Territori, economie, diseguaglianze (co-edited by), Franco Angeli 2012. Since 2013 she joins the research Territories in crisis (Program for Research Internationalization, Call Competition POLITO-EPFL).

Michele Cerruti But is an architect and PhD candidate in Urbanism at the IUAV University of Venice. His rich background that holds together philosophical studies and technology deals with themes related with dismissal and urban design. He is also interested in observing the relationships between different ideas of cities related to different economies and societies. Since 2013 he joins the research Territories in crisis (Program for Research Internationalization, Call Competition POLITO-EPFL).

Maddalena Grasso graduated at the Polytechnic of Turin with a thesis in History of Architecture. Since 2013, she is working on themes related with Architecture and Urbanism criticism during the late Twentieth Century.

Agim Enver Kërçuku is an architect and PhD candidate in Urbanism at the IUAV University of Venice. His interests deal with issues related to dwelling and urban design. Since 2013 he is teaching assistant at the course in Urbanism at the Polytechnic of Turin. Since 2011 he joins the research Shared Territories and since 2013 he joins Territories in crisis  (Program for Research Internationalization, Call Competition POLITO-EPFL).

Quirino Spinelli is an architect and PhD candidate in Urbanism at the IUAV University of Venice. His interests deal with issues related to dwelling and urban design. Since 2011 he joins the research Shared Territories, with particular attention paid to informal uses of the city. In 2013 he founded Animalform, design studio that works on media and visual communication.

Ianira Vassallo is an architect and PhD candidate in Regional Planning and Public Policy at the IUAV University of Venice. Her research deals with themes related to dwelling in the contemporary city. On these topics she published several articles in books and magazines. She teaches at IAAD in Turin and since 2013 she is teaching assistant at the Polytechnic of Turin. In 2012 she took part of the FIRB National Research Abitare lo spazio urbano. Migliorare la vivibilità delle periferie residenziali (IUAV University of Venice and Roma Tre). Since 2013 he joins the research Territories in crisis  (Program for Research Internationalization, Call Competition POLITO-EPFL).
