In September, will start the research “City and Production” in the Crisis Frame, a joint research project sponsored by the Politecnico di Torino and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and funded by the Compagnia di San Paolo. Below are the abstracts and objectives of the selected project.

The aim of the Urban Design Studio 2016/17 (Architecture degree course of the Politecnico of Turin) was to analyze and understand what is left today on the territory of the Fordist city structure. In this sense, Turin can be an important case study to look, not only because in this city is possible to observe how his industrial past was absorbed or denied, but also because here it’s interesting to define what prospects are opened today for the spaces that haven’t been subject to a process by transformation.
